Recruiting Event Specialist for an International consulting firm, Stockholm

One of the world’s leading management consulting firm is looking to hire an experienced event professional with a passion for employer branding to their office in Stockholm. The Recruiting Event Specialist will act as a strategic project manager for all our employer branding efforts and events. Focus will be placed on coordinating and leading external and internal resources; synthesizing and disseminating information; and taking full ownership of projects.

Description of your work

As Recruiting Event Specialist, you will be working with the firm’s Recruiting Team, in close cooperation with management consultant teams, partner recruiting leaders, and counterparts in other offices. The Recruiting Team lead our recruiting efforts for a number of sources, focusing on the development and execution of recruiting strategies, including all aspects of attraction, selection, and cultivation. Specific responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

Develop state-of-the-art infrastructure and processes to optimize event planning
Work collaboratively with internal clients. Establishing the event requirements and specific needs to deliver event objectives
Define communication plans and develop event materials
Provide “end-to-end” management of projects. Lead meetings with event sponsors to ensure key decisions are made and responsibilities assigned. Ensure guidelines and approval processes are adhered to throughout planning and execution
Develop and manage budgets, including reconciliation of all post-event invoices, analyse and report to relevant internal clients
Select, oversee and assign roles to team of planners, pre-event and on-site

You have exceptional organizational, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a creative mind. We work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, which demands strong management and networking skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously (5-10 active projects). Other characteristics; you work well with short deadlines while delivering high quality work, and you have exceptionally good attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness. Furthermore, you are mindful and exercise care of confidential information.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years event planning experience with strong industry knowledge of domestic locations, venues and hotels as well as preferably expertise in international conference/meeting planning
Experience of collaborating and working within a senior management team
You are fully fluent in English, both written and spoken as this is The firm’s corporate language and the majority of your tasks will be carried out in this language. You also need to master Swedish fluently.
